Shipping

How much is shipping in the United States?

Free. We hate surprise shipping costs, so we got rid of them. Shipping is included in all US orders.

How long does shipping take?

Most pieces are made to order by our network of artists around the world. Unframed orders generally ship within 10 business days. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for framing. As soon as your order goes out, we’ll share a tracking number.

Do you ship internationally?

If you’d like to place an order outside of the United States, please email us at questions@wallaceart.co

Do you ship to PO boxes?

For liability and insurance purposes, we cannot ship to PO boxes. Please provide your daytime delivery address and phone number.

What is your return policy?

Artwork

I can’t decide what I want.

No problem, we know that purchasing art can be daunting. Our complementary art advisors will help you find the best pieces for your space. And if we don’t carry what you’re looking for, we can also help you find it. Click here to book a consultation or just text us at 917.593.8219.

Can I customize my piece?

Most originals are made-to-order, customizable commissions. When you place your order you can select available customization options. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please email us at questions@wallaceart.co.

Will my original piece look exactly like the photo?

None of our pieces are mass-produced, and most of our originals are made to order. Exact brushstrokes may vary, but the piece will look very similar to the photo—unless you opt to customize it.

If the piece has already been created, that will be specified, and your piece will be the one in the photo. Keep in mind that every monitor is different so exact colors may vary slightly.

What makes a print unique?

We do not sell mass-produced prints and ensure our prints are of the highest quality. We also aim to create prints with unique elements through a variety of techniques that include:

-Custom embellishments: Many prints include custom elements applied by the artist (e.g. brushstrokes or materials added by hand to each print).

-Handmade prints: Many prints are made by the artist by hand. For example, with a woodblock print, artists apply ink to a woodblock by hand for each piece. Artists can apply different color inks and other techniques to create variations across prints.

-Paper: Paper can go a long way to enhance the beauty of a piece. All of our prints are printed on high quality paper, and many use handmade paper with deckled edges.

-Custom Signature: Most of our prints are signed by the artist.

What’s a limited edition print?

Limited edition prints have a fixed number of identical prints and often have unique elements. As a result, they are typically more expensive.

What’s an open edition print?

Open edition prints can be produced indefinitely and are less unique.

Framing

What pieces do you frame?

All pieces can be framed, and the frame is included in the cost for many of them.

Can I choose my frame?

We offer frame options on most pieces. We pre-select frames to best match the piece.

Is it cheaper to frame with you?

Through our partnership with a global framer, our frames are generally much less expensive than frames from local frame shops. We also help remove a lot of the guesswork and hassle from the process.

What kind of frames and materials do you use?

We use high quality wood frames. Each frame is custom cut and assembled by hand to match your piece. We include hanging hardware.

Acrylic

We use high quality acrylic framers which are clearer and more impact resistant than glass. Although acrylic is often more expensive than glass, across the industry it is often preferred.

Please note: We work with a variety of frames, so the frames shown in photos may be different from the frame you receive. Be sure to check the product description for framing details.

How do I clean my frame?

Our acrylic frames should be wiped with a microfiber cloth to remove any dust or debris. You can then spray a plastic cleaner. Do not use Windex or other glass cleaners. Wipe the cleaner off with a microfiber cloth.

Can I hang a piece without damaging my walls?

Yes, we recommend 3M’s Command products. Be sure to check the weight of your piece, but most are light enough to use Command strips.
